15世紀から伝わるニードルレースのひとつ、アレンソン・レース（Dentelle d'Alencon）は世界一と呼ばれる美しさを持ち、かのマリーアントワネットも愛用。そのレースをモチーフに繊細かつエレガントなデザインに鮮やかなカラーのコンビネーションが斬新なカード。リアルレースと見間違えそうなペーパーカットワークはため息が出そなほど細かくクオリティーの高さを感じます。ブックエンドとしてはもちろん、メッセージカードとしてさりげなく添えると優しい雰囲気が漂います。
一針ずつ手で縫い込んでいくレースの繊細さをペーパーカットワークに再現。フランスの伝統工芸を違う形でも残していきたいと活動しているMarie Louiseがアレンソンの町にあるレース美術館（Musee des Beaux Arts et de La Dentelle）のために作られたコレクション。
